Some unfinished sketchy things

In an attempt to pull myself out of my after-work tiredness, I've been doing some fairly quick greyscale sketches.

This one was just for fun. There was a challenge on a forum I visit to re-work an old drawing, and I found some reeeally old stuff on an old CD so decided to give it a go:

A commission and a gift

Thought I'd post these up as they're fairly recent.

Over Christmas I was asked to paint something to be given as a birthday gift. As the recipient is a Final Fantasy fan, that's the kind of look I went for. The original is A3 size but this is just a low-res version:

The idea was for it to be printed out on canvas, and I got to see it when it was done! It came out really well, the photo is a little dark but that was just my camera - the print itself was lovely. It's 2ft by 3ft and there wasn't any loss of picture quality!

I think the look of general bewilderment on my face sums the day up nicely.

So now the job hunt begins. It seems I've been neglecting this blog a fair bit, but now I have a website set up I'm planning to use it a bit more, for sketches, works-in-progress etc. I think I hide my stuff away too much, so I'm trying to kick the habit and get it out in the open more! I uploaded another pic to the website the other week as well, so feel free to have a look if you haven't already. Might as well get the ball rolling...

I've set up a joint blog with Harry for the final project (I've also made a personal one but, like a 13 year old girl's diary, it's a secret). There isn't a whole lot posted on it at the moment but here it is: http://colourrunners.blogspot.com/

Colour Runners is a working title. Figured it was better than just calling it "Working Title", though I thought that had its charms.

These are the video responses I made for the animation project going on at Uni. The basic idea was to create a short animation in 24 hours. I wanted to make more, but I had a lot of computer trouble.
